Attention, Pinoys: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wants You to Write About Donsol, Sorsogon

If you're looking for inspiration to write, this is it.

( With everyone in quarantine, some people are finally getting into new hobbies and interests while there are others who finally found time to go back to their passion projects. And if you're looking for an inspiration to write, American actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt posted a writing prompt about a tourist destination in the Philippines: Donsol, Sorsogon.

"Looking for people from the Philippines who like to write... know anyone? I need someone to write a sentence or two that tells the story of this beautiful moment in Donsol," he said in Facebook post on August 14.

You can post your story on HitRecord, an online collaborative media platform founded by Gordon-Levitt himself in 2004. It lets creatives share their ideas, collaborate with like-minded individuals, or give feedback about a project-in-progress. Some of the output of the online colleborations went on to become Sundance short films, commercials for big brands, or new books.

The writing prompt about Donsol was contributed by HitRecord community director Matt Conley for the Passport Poems series. From the name itself, these promps start with travel photos and branch out into other art mediums.
