Old Wood Place has six air-conditioned rooms, a swimming pool, a dining and kitchen area, and a gazebo with television. Overnight rates for two are at P2,900, but weekend rates are slightly higher at P3,300. You can choose to book the whole place for P17,400 on weekdays and P19,800 on weekends.

At Puesto Del Sol Villas, you can stay for just a day (from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at the rate of P350 for adults and P250 for kids and rent a cabana for the whole family (P5000 for 10 pax). Facilities include a five-foot swimming pool with a hot tub and a karaoke room. Overnight stays are, of course, much better, because you can spend some time admiring the gorgeous sunset from the private porch of your room. Their biggest space—a Family Villa for four—is at P8,000; while the rooms and villas for two range from P3,500 to P4,500. All rates are inclusive of breakfast.

The Oriental Bataan, which opened in October 2015, is the former Bataan Country Club—a popular resort for the affluent in the '70s. Rates range from P4,500 (Deluxe Rooms for two) to P6,500 (Executive Rooms for four). If you have some (or a lot!) of money to spare, splurge with your family and book a Governor's Suite (P18,500) or a Presidential Suite (P19,500). But the real crowd-pleaser at Oriental Bataan are its facilities.
