(SPOT.ph) After two years of restricted travel, international borders are slowly opening up. Southeast Asian countries are probably your best bet as some of them offer visa-free entry, travel time is for just a few hours, and plane tickets are relatively cheap. Case in point for that last one: Cebu Pacific is having a two-week-long seat sale for international routes from June 13 to 30. The travel period is from July 1 to May 31, 2023.

The one-way base fare may go as low as P499, but you have to be patient in looking for those special dates with really low fares. (We recommend looking at flights in November and onwards.)

If you collected Travel Funds from your previously canceled flights, this is your chance to use them as Cebu Pacific encourages customers to pay using their existing virtual wallets to book flights and add-ons.

For a bit of peace-of-mind given possible travel cancelations, the low-cost airline also permanently removed rebooking fees in March 2021—no doubt passengers need some flexibility when booking their tickets. There's also the CEB Flexi add-on, which lets you voluntarily cancel your flight up to two hours before departure and store the full value of your booking in your Travel Fund without extra charge.
