According to a report by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the meteor shower produced by comet 1P/Halley is estimated to have 14 meteors per hour after the radiant constellation Orion fully rises tonight. This is expected to last until the dawn of the following day, October 22. "The presence of a nearly new Moon in Leo presents minimal interference with the meteor shower observation," the agency added. This means that you easily observe the meteor shower through the naked eye. It's best if you choose an observation site that's away from the city lights.
