(SPOT.ph) Anyone who grew up in Manila from the '80s to the early 2000s is bound to have fond memories of going to Cubao and reveling in the various sights, eats, and shops of the area. Back then, aside from being a bustling business center, Cubao was also famous for housing attractions that enticed many Filipino kids and kids-at-heart to visit. Ask your older siblings, titos and titas, they're sure to have some form of core memory involving that place. The holidays were a whole other thing in the area, what with the Fiesta Carnival and yup, the ever-nostalgic Christmas on Display. Between the many rides and fun games, and the display's animated wholesome retelling of the nativity story, Cubao was the spot for many families. That is until time caught up and the annual celebration stopped happening. Until now.

This holiday season, the now Araneta City is bringing back both the Christmas on Display and the Fiesta Carnival at Times Square Park. Catch the classic Christmas show daily from 6 p.m. to  10 p.m. on Sundays to Thursdays and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays until January 8. Make your trip to the QC business center complete by riding and playing to your heart's content at the mini-Fiesta Carnival open daily from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
