Ticket Prices at Universal Studios Beijing
As of this writing, Universal Studios Beijing has three ticket types: One-Day Dated Ticket, 1.5-Day Dated Ticket (entry on day one is limited to 2 p.m. onwards), and 2-Day Flex Ticket. The park operates on a per-date system wherein the final price of your ticket depends on the date of visit. To ensure that you're booking the right ticket, it is highly recommended that you check the Universal Studios Beijing website beforehand.
One-Day Dated Ticket
- Adult (ages 12 to 64 years old): CNY 418 to CNY 638 (roughly P3,281 to P5,008)
- Child (ages 3 to 11 years old): CNY 313.50 to CNY 478.50 (roughly P2,461 to P3,756)
1.5-Day Dated Ticket
- Adult (ages 12 to 64 years old): CNY 670 to CNY 935 (roughly P5,273 to P7,358)
- Child (ages 3 to 11 years old): CNY 502.50 to CNY 701.25 (roughly P3,954 to P5,519)
2-Day Flex Ticket
- Adult (ages 12 to 64 years old): CNY 730 to CNY 930 (roughly P5,737 to P7,309)
- Child (ages 3 to 11 years old): CNY 547.50 to CNY 697.50 (roughly P4,299 to P5,477).

Universal Studio Beijing's Zones and Must-Ride Attractions, Must-Watch Shows
Hollywood
Based on the real Hollywood Boulevard in the United States, this zone serves as the entryway to the rest of the park. Meet-and-greets take place in this zone where you get to interact with Minions, Shrek, as well the characters from Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda. There are also two stage shows available should you decide to start your day slow. Lights, Camera, Action! is a special effects show featuring Steven Spielberg, while Untrainable is a stage show based on the popular franchise How to Train Your Dragon.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Yep, Beijing has the Harry Potter land. Fans of the franchise can experience what it's like to be a Hogwarts student in this land. Like its predecessors in other Universal theme parks, two rides are available. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is a motion simulator dark ride based on the film, while Flight of the Hippogriff is a roller coaster ride where guests sit on top of Hagrid's motorcycle as they travel through the Forbidden Forest.
You can also join other experiences, such as getting to choose your own wand at Olivander's, as well as participate whenever the Frog Choir is present for a performance.
Transformers: Metrobase
Themed after the Transformers franchise, the land currently has three attractions. Transformers: Battle for the AllSpark is a 3D dark ride on mounted platforms that tells the story of how the Autobots attempt to protect the AllSpark from the evil Decepticons. There's also a rollercoaster called Decepticoaster and a spinning ride called Bumblebee Boogie.
Kung Fu Panda: Land of Awesomeness
Kung Fu Panda: Land of Awesomeness is Universal's first foray into an entirely indoor-themed space. The land has three attractions: a boat-type ride called Kung Fu Panda: Journey of the Dragon Warrior, the traditional carousel, which they call the Carousel of Kung Fu Heroes, and a balloon ride called Lanterns of Legendary Legends. There's also an interactive show called Po's Kung Fu Training Camp, where the giant panda teaches children and families basic kung fu poses.
Waterworld
Beijing is indeed lucky since they are the first park to have a dedicated themed space for Waterworld. A staple in almost every Universal park, the WaterWorld Stunt Show is a 20-minute live show featuring different effects, water-based stunts, and the like.
MinionLand
Fans of the yellow creatures would definitely enjoy this part of the park. It is themed after the Despicable Me! franchise as well as the movie Sing, the land features three attractions: a motion simulator ride called Despicalbe Me Minion Mayhem, a Dumbo-style ride called Super Swirly, and an indoor family roller coaster called Loop-Dee Doop-Dee. A musical stage show based on the Sing franchise is also available for guests to enjoy.
Jurassic World: Isla Nublar
Beijing's version of the themed land is slightly different from its predecessors. For one, there's no water-based dinosaur ride like the ones found in California and Singapore. Instead, visitors get a motion-based ride called Jurassic World Adventure, with similar storytelling elements derived from older Jurassic rides.
If you want a more thrilling option, there's also the Jurassic Flyers rollercoaster. Meanwhile, those with kids who need to unleash all the extra energy can head on to Camp Jurassic, a children's play area located inside an indoor aviary.
Where to Eat and Shop at Universal Studios Beijing
Each themed zone in the park has various retail and dining establishments catering to big groups, families, and even those with specific dietary needs, such as vegan or Halal-certified food. It's also worth noting alcoholic beverages are not served inside the actual park, so there's no chance for you to try the alcoholic version of Butterbeer found in Hogsmeade.
Like any Universal park worldwide, there are other establishments just outside the park entrance that you can visit without needing a park ticket.

What are the operating hours?
The park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; however, it is highly recommended to check the official website as operating hours may be subject to change without prior notice.
Meanwhile, CityWalk—the retail and dining space outside the park—is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Is it child-friendly and accessible for PWDs?
Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis near the right side of Hollywood's entryway. Wheelchairs are also available for rent in CityWalk outside Universal Studios Beijing, on the second floor of Transportation Hub.
How do you get to Universal Studios Beijing?
Universal Studios Beijing is accessible by public transport. Parkgoers who wish to take the Metro may use Metro Line 7 and Batong Line to go to Universal Resort Station. Alternatively, guests can take the bus by catching Bus No. 589 and T116.
