Frozen in Concert Is Coming to Manila

(SPOT.ph) When the Disney animated flick Frozen came out in 2013, it became an instant cult favorite for its plot and amazing music. We can't even tell you how many times we've belted out "Let It Go" on the karaoke since. Well, if you thought you've finally shaken off the Frozen fever—it's been more than a decade, after all— think again.
Disney fans, young and old, brace yourselves. We're getting another flurry of icy fun as Frozen in Concert is coming to Manila this year. Listen and sing along to classic earworm tracks like Do You Wanna Build a Snowman, Love Is an Open Door, and Let It Go, accompanied by a full orchestra. Check out all the deets you need to know about this limited-time-only film-in-concert.

Here's what we know about the upcoming Frozen in Concert coming to Manila:
On November 16 and 17, watch the Disney flick come to life in Frozen in Concert at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater. This film concert will feature the Filharmonika Orchestra led by violinist and conductor Mhaze Lim. They will be performing Christophe Beck's Grammy-nominated score live and in sync with the Frozen animated movie playing on the big screen.
Here are the show schedules for Frozen in Concert:
- November 16, 5 p.m.
- November 17, 2 p.m.
- November 17, 6 p.m.
ICYDK, this isn't the Filharmonika Orchestra's first foray into the film concert genre. Aside from Frozen in Concert, the Gerard Salonga-founded, Manila-based orchestra will also perform Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert this September.
Ticket sales for Frozen in Concert will open to the public on September 12. But if this concert is especially a must for you—er, your kids, nieces, and nephews, you may want to keep an eye out for the limited pre-sale from Film Concerts PH starting on August 30 to September 1 so you can have first dibs on the best seats in the house. Tickets can be purchased online and in Ticketworld outlets nationwide.
