(SPOT.ph) The cast of Ang Huling El Bimbo, an all-original Filipino musical told through songs by Eraserheads, may have taken their final bow in July; but it looks like we'll be hearing more from them in December. Plus, Ely Buendia—Eraserheads' frontman and record producer—is performing with OJ Mariano, Gian Magdangal, Jon Santos, and the rest of the show's cast members. Ely Buendia: A Night at the Theater happens on December 8 at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.

Resorts World Manila is still trying to keep everything under wraps, but we just know that we're in for a one-of-a-kind performance. We not only get to hear Myke Salomon's musical arrangement of the well-loved tracks from the '90s, but also get a glimpse of how Buendia created the pieces that eventually became the soundtrack of his life—and our lives. It is written by Dingdong Novenario and directed by Jamie Wilson.

Ely Buendia: A Night at the Theater is on December 8, 8 p.m. at Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila, Newport Boulevard, Pasay City. Tickets, priced from P1,800 to P7,500, are available through Ticketworld.
