(SPOT.ph) The last few months of the pandemic have highlighted something we already know about art: that it would persist no matter what. Artists and cultural collectives are pushing the boundaries in their respective mediums by putting everything online as much as they can. Theater companies have also started beefing up their digital library by making previously filmed performances available for streaming and holding musical concerts with artists singing in their own basements. With all the shows we could catch online, it's impossible to run out of theater-related things to keep our minds occupied and distracted from the madness of the crisis.
This week is even made more special as six Filipino plays produced by Tanghalang Pilipino are going live on ABS-CBN's iWant for one whole month—from May 30 to June 30.
