A Harry Potter Concert Experience Is Coming This June

(SPOT.ph) Potterheads, raise your wands. We're getting another Harry Potter film concert—this time featuring the acclaimed third installment, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. 

Right off the heels of their run of the Marvel Infinity Saga Concert Experience, Film Concerts PH is bringing the score of another one of our favorite movie franchises to life.  Here's what you need to know about this upcoming film-to-real experience of one of the biggest movies of all time.

Check out the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert:

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to The Theatre at Solaire with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert on June 7 at 6 p.m. and on June 8 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Not to be confused with another orchestral performance featuring the music of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, this show by Film Concerts PH features a film-to-stage performance of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione on their third year at Hogwarts where they're introduced to even more magical and dark creatures like dementors, hippogriffs, boggarts, werewolves and so much more. During the show, the 96-piece Filharmonika Orchestra, led by Maestro Gerard Salonga, will perform the original music from the film as the entire third film of the franchise plays in high definition on a 40-foot-screen.

This Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert show is part of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and CineConcerts' Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series, which is the only official global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films. It is currently scheduled to include over 2,973 performances across more than 48 countries worldwide through 2025.

ICYDK, this isn't the first time Manila is getting a Harry Potter film concert experience. In 2019,  The Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Concert was performed by the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, also led by Gerard Salonga, while in 2023, The Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert was performed by the Manila Philippine Orchestra, led by John Jesensky.
