(SPOT.ph) While Art Fair Philippines 2022 just finished their run on April 1, it looks like we're looking (and buying) more art again soon as organizers have just announced final dates for this year's Art in the Park. This second major art event in Metro Manila is set to happen from April 24 to May 1; still online, folks.
Touted as ArtFairPH's more affordable counterpart, Art in the Park had its first foray into the digital space when the pandemic postponed their 2020 schedule. It was supposed to open on March 15, which was the same weekend that a quarantine restriction was imposed in Metro Manila. Art in the Park 2020 later pushed through with an online version in August. They had another digital display in January 2021, then a special hybrid event in July 2021 as the fair partly returned to Salcedo Park.

Since 2006, the annual Art in the Park calls the Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village, Makati City, its home. Admission has always been free, and works being sold have a cap of P50,000. Art pieces—from paintings to sculptures, from photographs to mixed-media pieces—are laid out on the ground, piled inside boxes, or placed side-by-side inside small booths; giving Art in the Park a laid-back ambience.
For this year, over 63 galleries will be showcasing their works online. We'll keep you updated on how the site works!
Art in the Park Online is from April 24 to May 1 through www.artinthepark.ph.
