SNEAK PEEK: Ikinari Steak Opens Their First PH Branch Tomorrow
Make your way to the Japanese steak chain's first leg in Pasay!
(SPOT.ph) It's finally happening. After months of waiting—possibly spent salivating over pictures of and/or memories of having tried their signatures in Japan—you can finally dig into the meaty eats of Ikinari Steak. The Japanese steak chain is officially opening their first Philippine branch at Mall of Asia starting tomorrow, December 18.

You'll find Ikinari Steak on the ground floor of MOA Square, near Single Origin. Keep an eye out for their sign from the mall's exterior:
Just some of the dishes on their PH lineup are the juicy-AF Ribeye (P1,199/200 grams) with certified Angus beef; the Tenderloin (P1,345), said to be their juiciest and most tender option; and the Ikinari Hamburg Steak (P475/200 grams, P610/300 grams) a.k.a. thick patties of ground beef. These can all be had solo in their succulent glory, or with any of their sauces (choose between sweet and spicy) or condiments (garlic paste, wasabi, and more) for a welcome flavor boost.
In Japan, the restaurant chain is operated by the Pepper Food Service—i.e. the same folks behind the Pepper Lunch franchise in the country. Their casual and laid-back approach to serving sumptuous steaks has earned them regulars over the years; it sure doesn't hurt that their price range is on the affordable end, considering the great quality of their food.
