No Mojos? Shakey's Serves Up "Mojo Flavored Fries" Instead

(SPOT.ph) We've long held that no meal at Shakey's is complete without an order (or three) of their famous Mojos potatoes. That is, until the seeming Mojos shortage we've observed at certain branches in recent months. Cue heartbreak and plenty of unsatisfied needs—erm, cravings. Supplies continue to be fairly limited, but the pizza chain is thankfully offering a bit of a compromise: Mojo flavored fries.

Here's a bit of a substitute while you wait for your favorite Shakey's Mojos:

In a Facebook post dated January 1, 2023, Shakey's announced that they'll serving Mojo flavored fries as a "substitute" for Mojos at some of their stores, citing "global supply constraints." "It's not the same—we understand, Mojos are one-of-a-kind—but we think you will enjoy them too," they write.

Crying? We feel ya—but we're just thankful not all is lost. In the meantime we say take this as the opportunity to switch up your sides game. Should the Mojos-flavored fries not do it for you, Shakey's has other savory, crispy bites that include the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks and Calamari Crunch.

Shakey's is a pizza chain from the U.S. that was founded in 1954. In the Philippines, they're best known not just for their pizza, but also their crispy-juicy fried chicken and Mojos.
