(SPOT.ph) Ah, UP Diliman, one of the last open-to-public green spaces in the Metro. Whether you're a current student, university worker, or alumni reliving the memories, heck, even an outsider just enjoying the view, the campus is one of those key spots in the Metro you shouldn't miss out on if you're looking for some time outdoors. We know you've taken a stroll or two along the university's many jogger and pedestrian-friendly streets. And we also know, you've taken a bite, or two, or several out of the local food spots. From street food to casual snacks and full budget-friendly meals, the campus has a lively food scene ready to cater to hungry students and guests. Adding to the already many eateries and stalls on the campus is the Gyud Food Market, the newest dining destination on campus.

Check out this new food market on the UP Diliman campus:
Located along E. Jacinto Street, near the College of Fine Arts, Gyud Food Market is the latest food destination on the campus. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., the new food spot is meant to cater not only to students and faculty of the university but also to the wider community of visitors and alumni. Diners can expect a wide array of eats, from bread to pasta, pizzas to rice bowls, and Asian flavors to Western meals.Â
Gyud Food Hall boasts a two-story open dining area and picnic tables under the shade of UP gigantic trees. With its breezy atmosphere and welcoming vibe, this new food hall is bound to be one of the most poppin' spots on campus.

In keeping with school spirit and all that jazz, diners belonging to the UP system—i.e., students, faculty, admin workers, and researchers—can expect discounts from 5% to 15% with payments done through their Paymaya-enabled UP IDs. But hey, if you're just visiting the campus for whatever reason, don't miss out and hit up this new spot right in the heart of Quezon City.
