Thanks to the continuous rise of the Hallyu wave in the country, more and more Korean restaurants and cafés are opening in Manila. And the newest one that we're *so* excited to visit is the brainchild of South Korea's well-renowned chef! Get ready to have a brew-tiful day at Paik's Coffee, located on the fourth floor of Glorietta 1.

Paik's Coffee is founded by Paik Jong Won, a Korean chef and cooking show host who also owns other culinary brands like Ball Katsu (it recently opened its first branch in the PH). The popular coffee chain was established in 2006 as Wonjobucks Coffee before it was rebranded in 2015. Out of all the cafés in SoKor, Paik's Coffee prides itself on its huge and value-for-your-money servings, as well as its flavorful coffee that uses specialty coffee beans from Brazil.

If you're not into hot or iced brews, the coffee franchise also offers juices, teas, and smoothies. They serve ice cream, too! Paik's Coffee's best-sellers in SoKor are the Paikscinnos, available in flavors like Cookie Crunch, Strawberry, Chocolate, Mint, and Pongdang (made of the Korean cereal snack Jolly Pong) that you're going to like a latte.
