(SPOT.ph)Ā Falling down into the rabbit holeāorĀ getting sucked into aĀ black holeāof Korean dramas elicits different emotions: joy, kilig,Ā hope, heartbreak, misery, and anger. It mainly depends on the storyline they're telling, but one thing that youāll feel when watching any K-drama? Hunger. If anything, Koreans sure do know how to make something as simple as fried chicken look soĀ damn good.
For those who watched and still canāt get over Crash Landing On YouĀ and Goblin, bb.q,Ā the famous chicken joint advertised on both series, is opening a second branch in Evia Lifestyle Center in Las PiƱas City,Ā following its firstĀ store that opened inĀ Bonifacio Global City that opened last year.

South Korea's famous chicken bb.q set to open a new branch at Evia Lifestyle Center:
As of writing, bb.q Chicken only has one other branch in the country. It first opened in BGCāspecifically, at Central Squareālast November 2022. The hint that a second bb.q Chicken branchĀ is opening soon came from a Facebook post byĀ Evia Lifestyle Center.
The mall, owned by Vista Land, shared a short clip of a plate of fried chicken followed by the official bb.q Chicken logo and the words, "Opening Soon!"
What you should order at bb.q Chicken
bb.q Chicken does not stand for barbecue chicken, okay?Ā The name, which is actually an acronym, means "best of the best quality" chicken. Their signature Korean fried chickens areĀ known for their crunchy fried chicken skin on the outside, but still maintaining its juiciness on the inside.
bb.q Chicken is known for three bestselling flavors: Golden Original, Honey Garlic which has a sweet soy-based sauce, and Soy Garlic which has a slight tanginess to it. If we were to eat bb.q Chicken the same way Koreans do IRL and in K-dramas, the Korean fried chicken is good on its own but way better withĀ tteokbokkiĀ or kimchi fried rice on the side. Might as well orderĀ ice-cold beer to wash it all down, too.
When the second bb.q Chicken branch opens at Evia Lifestyle Center, those living in the south of Metro Manila no longer have to go all the way to Central Square for their fix. There's no need to brave the bumper-to-bumper traffic and pay for the skyway toll, which takes precious time and hard-earned money that could have been better spent eating at their soon-to-open Evia Lifestyle Center branch.
Evia Lifestyle Center is at Daang Hari Road, Almanza Dos, Las PiƱas City. For more information, check out BBQ CHICKEN PH on Instagram.
