Kiwami Food Hall

Kiwami aims to represent the different facets of Japanese cuisine—the country’s killer soft-serve game included, in the form of their uber-milky Hokkaido Soft Serve. Have it in a cup with toppings like kuromitsu boba (P160) or a yuzu-strawberry compote (P160), or go the lengua de gato cone route (P160) a la Japan’s famous Cremia for a buttery, luxe dessert.

Cow Cow Ice

Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory’s got a great handle on all things dairy, evident in their buttery cookie sandwiches and lush, cream-stuffed pastries—so it’s no surprise their soft-serve line, dubbed Cow Cow Ice, is some of the best around. Choose from Milk (P130) or Cheese (P150) varieties, or get a mix of the two (P150); you even have an option to have it topped with one of their Salt & Camembert Cookies (P50) or even a slice of cheesecake (P150).

Dripp

You’re bound to feel like a kid in a candy store over at The Grid’s resident soft-serve shop, Dripp. The star of the show is their soft-serve of course, which is right smack dab being refreshing and being creamy—but you can also honor your playful side by personalizing your cup (P180) and topping it with your choice from their range of cereals, syrups, and more. Got decision fatigue? Go for their predetermined combos like the Golden Cereal Soft Serve (P170) with corn flakes, honey flakes, and Frosted cereal.

Mo’ Cookies

Oh yes, Mo’ has got mo’ (heh) than killer cookies: they also take on the frozen end of the dessert spectrum at their Rockwell branch (which recently relocated to the Concourse level). Dubbed Mo' Softies (P140)—#felt, we know—the Moment Grup’s take on classic soft-serve can be had in Mo' Milk, Mo' Coffee, and Mo' Latte variations. Best part? Every order comes a Mo' Crumb—miniaturized versions of their signature cookies in your flavor of choice.

Patisserie Bebe Rouge

Japanese pastries with French sensibilities is the name of the game at Bebe Rouge—and beyond the dainty pastries on their shelves, they also make killer Soft Serve Ice Cream (P130). Not only does it deliver the dreamy taste of pure dairy in every swirl; it’s also served on Cremia-style langue de chats cones that are as buttery as they are subtle enough in sweetness to ultimately let the soft-serve shine.

Alt Scoops

Love soft-serve but can’t have dairy—or at the very least curious about how dairy-free alternatives would fair in the dessert? Troop over to Alt Scoops’ physical nook at The Podium. Not only does the shop stock almost all of their winning oat-milk ice cream flavors; it’s also where they serve up their dairy-free soft serve (starts at P125/plain) that you can make your own with their range of toppings.

The Matcha Tokyo

Don’t just stop at the earthy matcha drinks when at this Japanese shop in MITSUKOSHI BGC specializing in all things green tea. Fun fact: they’ve also got a must-try Matcha Soft-Serve (P) bound to sweep any matcha maven off their feet! Have it on its own on a cone or cup, or order up the Matcha Latte Float that has it as a topping for the ultimate green-tea dream.

This Italian dining spot might best be known for their pizza and pasta, but we implore you to save room for an order or two of a mano’s Burrata Gelato Soft. On its own (P190/cup) it’s light and lush—yet a mano takes things the more dynamic direction with topping options (P20) of crushed honeycomb candy, olive oil and sea salt, and balsamic and strawberries.

Exchange Alley Coffee House

Coffee—really good specialty coffee—may be the main selling point of this Alabang spot, but regulars know no visit is complete without an order of their oh-so-creamy soft-serve. Milk (sourced from a local farm in Pampanga!) in the base makes for rich and silky licks and spoonfuls, whether you opt to have it on a langues de chat cone, drizzled with a Risa Chocolate shell, or as an affogato with a shot of espresso (P160).

Carmen’s Best

Local artisanal brand Carmen’s Best may be best known for their regular, scoopable ice cream, but they also channel their soft side, if you will, at their ice cream parlor in Rockwell. Yup, they swirl up soft-serve at this branch, and as of writing they’ve got a can’t-be-missed promo where your P200 can get you unlimited swirls (i.e., free refills!) from Mondays to Fridays, 2 to 5 p.m.
