(SPOT.ph) Just like that ex who ghosted you, % Arabica Coffee is once again making its way back into our life. Kidding aside, you may remember walking up to your go-to branch one January day in 2022 and finding everything boarded up, gone with little to no closure. But alas, after a year of waiting, % Arabica is finally ready to pick up where they left off in the Philippines and bring back everything we loved about them and then some. Get ready coffee-loving Spotters: % Arabica is now open in MITSUKOSHI BGC.

Here's your first look at the new % Arabica in MITSUKOSHI Mall:

Now in a space that looks like it came straight out of a science fiction novel, % Arabica is back and ready to welcome Filipino coffee heads who miss their blends and brews.

The BGC coffee shop is unlike usual cafés decked out in warm earth tones. The roughly 20 to 25-seater space in MITSUKOSHI BGC's second floor resembles a futuristic spacecraft that is said to symbolize the future of % Arabica in the Philippines. Where you would expect warm-toned lights and brown-yellow hues, you get a striking bright white and chrome accented space. 

There's no escaping the roasted coffee aroma when you're at the Japanese mall. Right at the shop entrance lies a coffee roasting room where customers can get fresh blends and have it ground right in front of them for their personal consumption at home. 

But if you're like us, who can't be bothered to brew their own cup of joe, great news: much like the previous % Arabica branches, you can also get your coffee here or to go. 

The new branch doesn't just sport a new look. They also have new drinks that are bound to take coffee lovers by a chokehold. 

Along with the new store, % Arabica is also making their highly-anticipated Kyoto Latte (P225/eight ounces Hot, P250/12 ounces Hot, P250/12 ounces Iced), which is a lighter and smoother take on the much-loved % Arabica Spanish Latte. If you found the Spanish Latte to be a tad too sweet for your liking, this may be a better fit for you. 

But arguably, our favorite thing on the new menu is the Dark Latte (P255/eight ounces Hot, P280/12 ounces Hot, P280/12 ounces Iced). If you like having another layer of flavor in your drink besides strong, bold coffee tastes, get a cup of this. This drink uses premium French cocoa, which adds a rich chocolatey profile to the already strong coffee flavors. Trust us. You'll want to go out of your way for a cup of this. 

If you love ice cream, you can also head over here to try their newest treat Matcha Soft Cream (P180/four ounces, P200/eight ounces). Matcha lovers will go crazy for this cold, creamy treat on a hot day. It has a strong, creamy, clean but earthy flavor which you can attribute to the quality of matcha they use. Yup, it definitely tastes like good quality premium matcha to us. 

But don't fret, if you're a fan of the OG menu, all of the % Arabica favorites are making a comeback, including the Spanish Latte (P225/eight ounces Hot, P250/12 ounces Hot, P250/12 ounces Iced) and the Matcha Latte (P225/eight ounces Hot, P250/12 ounces Hot, P250 12 ounces Iced). 

Can't get enough of the % Arabica fever? You can also bring home some merch from the brand. As usual, there are various cups and tumblers available in-store.

But more notably, you can even wear your love for the coffee brand on your feet with their %Arabica sneakers. 

% Arabica Manila Mitsukoshi BGC is a franchise of the famed Japanese coffee brand % Arabica and is the brand's 157th store worldwide. % Arabica first rocked the Philippine coffee scene back in 2018 but closed down shortly after the pandemic in 2022 as the initial franchise contract ended. The Khoffee Group Corporation manages  % Arabica this time.
