Move Over, Spanish Latte: Dunkin' Has a New Coffee With Condensed Milk

(SPOT.ph) Dunkin’ is on a roll—not (just) for their doughnuts, but also for their coffee game. After releasing its first Asian Series drink which was Hong Kong Milk Tea, the doughnut-coffee shop has arrived at its next destination. New on the coffee menu is a warm cup of Vietnamese Coffee (P80/medium and P95/large)—which comes at perfect timing for the rainy days ahead.

Meet the new Dunkin’ Vietnamese Coffee:

Vietnam has long been known for coffee and is, in fact, one of the known countries in the world that produces it. If you’ve ever been to Vietnam, you must have tried their coffee—at least once, at most, or twice or even thrice every day. What Dunkin' is bringing to its menu is its version of Vietnam's ca phe sua nong.

This drink is a simple combination of a strong brew of coffee and condensed milk—similar to that of a Spanish latte, but not as milky. These two components (brewed coffee and condensed milk) are exactly what’s in the Dunkin’ version of the coffee drink. It's as simple as it gets: it's sweet, strong coffee.

Dunkin's Vietnamese Coffee both gives you a sugar high and a kick of caffeine. When we bought a cup of Vietnamese Coffee for ourselves, the coffee definitely tasted the same as their regular brewed hot coffee—but sweetened and ever-so-lightly milky.

Unfortunately for iced coffee drinkers, Dunkin’s Vietnamese Coffee is only available as a hot drink. Although its warmth is perfect for the rainy weather, you can always add ice if you really insist on drinking it cold.

Best part? It's fairly affordable: Dunkin's Vietnamese Coffee is priced at P80 for medium cup and P95 for a large cup.
