SPOTTED: Elyu's Masa Bakehouse Is Making Their Way to Taft

(SPOT.ph) You might not automatically link the idea of baked goods with that of the beach... that is, unless we're talking about La Union's Masa Bakehouse. The homegrown bakery's won over both locals and tourists alike thanks with their great-quality breads and pastries—so we city-dwellers were beyond elated as they opened their first Manila branch in BF Homes, Alabang in 2021. Live far from the area? Great news: you can soon get your fix at the student hub that is Taft Avenue as we've spotted signage of an upcoming store they're opening in the area!

Here's the deal on what looks to be Masa Bakehouse's upcoming store in Taft:

In an Instagram post earlier this month, Masa Bakehouse announced they'd be "baking soon" at DLSU Taft, Manila—and we spotted what looks to be that very store at Taft Avenue's Burgundy Transpacific Place, right across De La Salle University. Take a look:

As of writing, Masa Bakehouse has yet to make any announcement about the Taft branch's opening date and/or its exact menu; keep your eyes here for updates. For now, we're hoping they bring to the store their full roster—which includes rightfully buttery croissants, crusty loaves, pizzas, and even plated dishes.
