Here's Your Definitive Guide to Restaurants + Cafés at Parqal Mall

(SPOT.ph) In just a few short months since we've been teased about a new mall opening in Parañaque City, the vibrant Parqal in Aseana City has officially made its debut. In our first look at the Parqal, we saw how the new five-hectare shopping destination boasts of open-air spaces—including a courtyard with a towering tree in the middle of a fountain, and its own amphitheater.

Parqal has four floors, where the topmost floors are for offices while the lower floors are where you can find food and beverage shops. There aren't too many new restaurants and cafés open just yet, but here's a guide on what F&B stores are open, plus the soon-to-open dining and drinking establishments in this flourishing space. We've compiled a list of spots that you can now dine at, as well as soon-to-open ones to look forward to.

Check out the restaurants and cafés now open at Parqal:

Café Mary Grace

Location: G/F 1, Kawayan Building
Operating hours: Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Sunday
What it's known for: Mary Grace is known for its well-loved Ensaymada, Cheese Rolls, Spanish Hot Chocolate, and other baked pastries. 

Dylan Patisserie

Location: G/F 2, Sawali Building
Operating hours: Open from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Sunday
What it's known for: Dylan Patisserie is known for its range of desserts, mostly French pastries. They have different flavors of macarons and croissants, plus beautiful petite cakes in flavors like De Hazelnut Praline, Ube Dulce De Leche, and Blueberry Cheesecake.

Dunkin'

Location: G/F 1, Kawayan Building
Operating hours: Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Sunday
What it's known for: Dunkin' is known for its bestselling doughnuts, such as the Choco Butternut, Choco Wacko, and Boston Creme, and hot and iced coffee to pair the sweet snack.

Soy Yummy Cafe

Location: G/F 1, Kawayan Building
Operating hours: Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Monday to Thursday), 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Friday to Sunday)
What it's known for: The first-ever Soy Yummy Cafe serves the classic taho, as well as other tofu-based menu items such as pudding, savory rice meals, and drinks like non-dairy coffee lattes using soy milk.

A1 Shabu Shabu

Location: G/F 3, Rattan Building
What it's known for: At this Chinese hot pot spot, you'll be spoiled for choice with their range of regular and premium toppings: fresh seafood, Japan's renowned Wagyu beef, homemade wonton balls, and a delightful assortment of farm-to-table vegetables.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Location: G/F, 3 Rattan Building
What it's known for: Kitchen by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the restaurant version of the CBTL café. This is the kitchen concept that serves everything from all-day breakfast plates, salad plates, pizza slices, pasta bowls, and meaty entrees.

Chachago

Location: G/F, 1 Kawayan Building
What it's known for: Chachago is a popular chain of beverage shops that's particularly known for its bubble tea. They offer a diverse menu of fruit teas, coffee, and non-caffeinated beverages.

Chung Dam Korean Restaurant

Location: 2/F, 1 Kawayan Building
What it's known for: Chung Dam Korean Restaurant is known for their Korrean food, most especially their seafood selection such as the seafood pancake, jjampong, and Alaskan king crabs.

Dining On The Rails

Location: G/F, 1 Kawayan Building
What it's known for: Opening soon is the first branch of Dining On The Rails, a unique restaurant with futuristic interiors of a train-turned-dining space that serves all kinds of Asian eats. They have dim sum, Japanese ramen, Korean fried chicken, and more.

Doodletea

Location: G/F, 8 Cogon Building
What it's known for: Doodletea has a wide selection of tea-based drinks that can be customized with different toppings. They also have a selection of non-tea drinks such as Yakult Lemon Juice and Strawberry Cheesecake.

Fiery Style

Location: G/F, 3 Rattan Building
What it's known for: Fiery Style is known for its Mexican food fare. The menu consists of a selection of burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and burgers, plus margaritas, mojitos, and horchata to wash it all down.

Kazuwa

Location: G/F, 5 Abaca Building
What it's known for: Kazuwa is a Japanese restaurant that serves rolls, sushi, and gunkan sets that are perfect for large gatherings. They also have ala-carte plates of maki rolls, sushi, aburi, sashimi, donburi, salad, appetizers, and entrees that include salmon, tempura, steak, gyoza, and oysters.

North Park

Location: G/F, 1 Kawayan Building
What it's known for: North Park is a popular Chinese restaurant that serves Chinese dishes that are modified for the Filipino palate. This restaurant is known for its noodle dishes, congee, and meaty entrees such as the Sweet & Sour Pork, and leafy sides such as the Broccoli Flower in Oyster Sauce.

Perfect Pint

Location: G/F, 7 Banig Building
What it's known for: Perfect Pint is a resto-slash-pub that serves craft beers that are exclusively made in-house. You can guzzle down everything from IPAs to lagers, pale ales, stouts, and porters at this watering hole.

Red House Shabu-Shabu

Location: G/F, 5 Abaca Building
What it's known for: Another hot pot spot at Parqal, Red House Restaurant Shabu Shabu focuses on Taiwanese hotpot and has a selection of premium meat, seafood, balls, and vegetables.

Starbucks

Location: G/F, 7 Banig Building
What it's known for: Starbucks is known for its coffee, Frappuccino, and tea-based beverages. The multinational chain of coffee houses also has light eats, pastries, and desserts. And how can we forget the merch (a.k.a. the tumblers and mugs)?

Umi Matsu

Location: G/F, 7 Banig Building
What it's known for: Umi Matsi is a Japanese restaurant serving classic Japanese izakaya fare, from sushi, rice bowls, bar chow, yakitori, and a special menu of imported seafood, including different kinds of abalone, tuna, and oyster.

Wow Grill and Rice Bowl

Location: GF, 8 Cogon Building
What it's known for: Wow & Grill Rice serves döner kebabs, which is a Turkish dish made of roasted meat. These are served with Wow & Grill Rice and a medley of veg (broccoli, peas, and cucumber).

XO 46 Heritage Bistro

Location: G/F, 7 Banig Building
What it's known for: XO 46 Heritage Bistro specializes in Filipino cuisine. Their bestsellers are the Adobong Baka sa Gata, Sinigang na Bagnet, Kare-Kare Classico, and Bangus Salpicao.

There are a number of restaurants we saw in Parqal's digital directory that are not available yet in other parts of the Metro. These are Barbee Q, Cantonese Cuisine, Chow Tai Seng, Classical Wine Club, Crabs and Crack, Delicious Hotpot, Incheon Noodles, and Summer Sweetie.
