Your Meal at Helm, Gallery by Chele + More Top Manila Restaurants Could Help Feed Those in Need

Some of Manila's best dining spots—including Gallery by Chele, Helm, and The Black Pig—are coming together for the Gourmet Giving Series, which gives you an avenue to dine out for a good cause.

Here's what you should know about the Gourmet Giving Series Hapag Movement 2023:

The Gourmet Giving Series: A Fine Dining Thanksgiving Experience for the Hapag Movement is held by the Fine Dining Club Philippines along with Globe. They're bringing together top-rated restaurants in Manila who'll be serving set meals on selected days—and part of the proceeds from these will be donated to Globe's partner charities, to help feed and support Filipino families experiencing involuntary hunger.

Peep the participating restaurants, offerings, and schedules below:

• Txoko Asador: a 10-course tasting menu with wine pairing at P5,500 per person, available on November 20 for dinner
• Chef Jessie Rockwell Club: a Thanksgiving set menu at P3,000 per person, available from November 20 to 22 for dinner
• Tiago's: a four-course tasting menu at P2,900 per person, available from November 21 to 22 for dinner 
• Alegria Manila: an eight-course tasting menu at P4,500 per person and 10-course tasting menu at P6,000 per person, available for dinner from November 21 to 26
• La Cabrera: a six-course menu with wine pairing at P5,500 per person, available on November 22 for dinner
• The Test Kitchen: a six-course tasting menu at P5,800 per person, available on November 23 for dinner
• The Black Pig: a four-course tasting menu at P2,800 per person, available from November 23 to 24 for lunch and dinner
• Gallery by Chele: an eight-course tasting menu at P5,500 per person, available on November 23 for lunch and dinner
• Ember: a six-course tasting menu at P5,800 per person, available on November 24 for dinner
• Helm: an eight-course tasting menu at P6,900 per person, available on November 25 for dinner
• Flame: an eight-course tasting menu at P4,500 per person, available from November 29 to 30 for dinner
• Your Local: a seven-course tasting menu at P4,950 per person, available from November 29 to 30 for dinner

Reservations to the public open on October 28. But if you're a Globe Platinum customer and a member of the Fine Dining Club Philippines, you can book your seats as early as now; let's just say there might just be a secret code lurking in the aforementioned Facebook group.

The Gourmet Giving Series is part of Globe's Hapag Movement, which was launched in August of 2022. It has since raised some P21.5 million and helped around 70,000 Filipinos through supplemental feeding and livelihood training.
