LOOK: CBTL Has Never Looked Better

(SPOT.ph) With all the new coffee shops opening left and right, you might have noticed a few Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf branches that stand out more than the usual. Chances are what you saw is one of the few Kitchen by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) branches in and around Metro Manila, with a new one opening at the new Parqal mall down south in December. And if you thought the other Kitchen branches were eye-catching, this ones on a whole new level.

Here's a closer look at the gorgeous Kitchen by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Parqal:

The new Kitchen by CBTL at Parqal has the same extended menu as the other nine branches. Aside from the usual coffee and tea, this open-kitchen concept offers gourmet dishes such as all-day breakfast plates, salads and sandwiches, pasta bowls, and pizzas—and alongside it, stunning interiors.

Tip: You know it's Kitchen by CBTL fo-sho when you see the logo with the crossed knife and fork, a coffee bean to the left, a sprouting plant to the right, and the word "KITCHEN" on the bottom. It's usually by the restaurant's entrance.

The branch at Parqal has a greyscale exterior that will remind you of a modern container van-turned-house or in this case, a container van-turned-restaurant. In contrast, the tall, wide windows show the complete opposite of warmth.

The modern interiors of the new branch mainly use a mix and match of earth elements. The chairs use light wooden material, a number of the tables are made of marble, the walls are made of grey bricks resembling stone, and there are potted plants scattered in and outside the establishment. 

We don't know if it's just because we love lighting fixtures, but our eyes are glued to the crescent-shaped pieces of wood where the spherical bulbs are hung, illuminating the space in warm, yellow at dusk.

Since Parqal is known for its wide open spaces, you can opt to choose the al fresco seating to enjoy the fresh air—well, as fresh as it can get in the Metro that is. Otherwise, if it's raining or it's too hot, you can take a seat inside, sip on your coffee, and get your stomach's fill.
