Rebel Bakehouse to Open a Takeout Space in Quezon City

(SPOT.ph) Croissants might not traditionally have been the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Baguio, but Rebel Bakehouse has us running for their flaky, buttery signatures whenever we're at the City of Pines. They've slowly been making it easier for us Manileños to get our hands on their signature bakes with their occasional pop-ups, a currently open one being stationed at Greenbelt in collaboration with Yardstick. But here's even more exciting news: they recently opened a commissary on Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, and this will be followed by a permanent takeout space where you can grab their pastries whenever the hankering hits!

What we know about Rebel Bakehouse's upcoming nook on Maginhawa Street:

Rebel already has a commissary in the area that supplies croissants to their ongoing pop-up in Makati. In an exchange with SPOT.ph, the brand shares they'll also be opening the takeout space "in the first or second week of April"—and it'll have a waiting area with five stools; coffee; and limited parking space.

"In Maginhawa it’s a primarily [a commissary] to support our pop-ups and to support cafés that want to carry our croissants," Rebel Bakehouse tells SPOT.ph. The takeout nook will be serving a selection of their famous pastries (though less than what's available at their flagship in Baguio). Though the exact menu has yet to be finalized, Rebel shares that they'll definitely be having their Butter, Pain au Choc, Ham & Gruyere, and Twice-Baked Almond croissant varieties, as well as their Cinnamon Buns.
