Milky Way
This cozy restaurant known for its handmade ingredients and delectable Filipino meals started shortly after the war. And no one who drops by their Pasay Road HQ will skip ordering their famous Milky Way Halo Halo (P295)! All twenty or so ingredients of their halo-halo are independently sourced or handmade with special recipes. Topped with a scoop of the softest and delicate-tasting ube ice cream, mixed with just the right amounts of evaporated milk and scoops of beans and gulaman, mixed with some shaved ice, this is a perfect treat for summer. But really, you can enjoy it in any kind of weather—we sure do.
Milky Way also delivers halo-halo to nearby areas in Makati such as Rockwell, Salcedo, Legaspi, Dasmarinas Village, San Lorenzo, Urdaneta, Bel Air and Forbes Park.

Little Quiapo
Aside from tasty Filipino meals and food items, Little Quiapo has multiple desserts that any foodie (or casual food lover) will enjoy! Collectively called “Samalamig,” the desserts include Saba Con Yelo (P170), Mais Con Yelo with Ice Cream (P170), and Halo-Halo (P170/regular, P195/special, and P220/fiesta). Founded by a former sorbetero who made a name serving frozen desserts in the UP Diliman Campus, Little Quiapo is also known for their multiple flavors of ice cream scoops and banana split. Their halo-halo in particular has a hefty serving of ube ice cream along with a huge chunk of milky leche flan among all the other colors and flavors.

Aristocrat
Who hasn’t grown up on Aristocrat? This Manila classic is famous for its chicken barbeque and Java rice pairing, but it also serves a variety of local sweet treats. Aside from leche flan, buko pandan, and gulaman-and-sago, Aristocrat has three kinds of halo-halo. Their Regular Halo-Halo (P180) consists of evaporated milk, various sweetened beans and fruits. Their Special Halo-Halo (P220) is almost the same, except it's topped with ube ice cream. For a less conventional take, try their Halo-Halo Blanca (P160) which is a creamy variation mixed with Macapuno.

Razon’s of Guagua
Razon’s is practically synonymous with halo-halo. Like the previous options, they offer three variations of the beloved icy treat. You can order a Classic Halo-Halo (P145) or, if you have a kid or a small appetite, a Halo-Halo Jr. (P105). But you can also get their special KLM—that's Keso, Langka, Mais (P145). What makes Razon’s even more remarkable is that it allows you to be picky. For a small price, you can remove or include ingredients of your own choice, including scoops of banana, slices of macapuno, cups of milk, langka, cheese, corn, and corn flakes.

Workshop
A classy, upscale bakery and patisserie in Rockwell, Workshop also offers Halo-Halo among other eclectic menu items such as French flan (in Red Ben and Matcha flavors), various types of canned cakes, and brownies. These frozen treats of theirs can be likened to bingsu with their fine, creamy shaved ice base. Best part? They have not one, not two, not three, but five distinctive options to choose from: Melon Halo-Halo (P375); Mais Con Helo Halo-Halo (P315); Knickerbocker Halo-Halo (P375) inspired by the Zamboanga treat and topped with strawberry ice cream; Mango Basque Cheesecake (P395); and Ube Turon Halo-Halo (P325).

Bebang
Bebang is a TikTok sensation that deserves all the attention that it’s getting! A dessert chain known particularly for their delicious, aesthetically pleasing halo-halo, they’ve got multiple variations available for every set of taste buds. Their bestsellers are Mango Graham Halo-Halo (P158), Banana Cinnamon Con Yelo (P158), and the classic Presidential Halo-Halo (P168) with all the familiar ingredients and ube ice cream. But they’ve also got Buko Pandan Halo-Halo (P158), Halukay Ube Halo-Halo (P158) for those who can’t get enough of purple yam, Matcharap Halo-Halo (P168) for the green-tea stans, Mango Classic Halo-Halo (P128), and the simple yet reliable Special Halo-Halo (P138).

Chowking
Chowking’s Halo-Halo is everyone’s childhood favorite. Their Super Sangkap Halo-Halo Supreme (starts at P76) is affordable and reliable. At the same time, it tastes like a party in one’s mouth. Its winning combination of milk, beans, jellies, leche flan, and ube ice cream will feed your need for a nostalgic treat. It’s the kind of the treat that one can mass-order for a day out with friends or family in the beach or somewhere hot.

The Peninsula Manila
Want to go out on a fancy date but still craving for something cold and classic? The Peninsula, a five-star hotel, offers one of the best, fanciest halo-halo in the Metro. Served in the chic, posh, spacious, and comfortable lobby dining area during tea time, their Halo-Halo Harana (P890) is comprised of a blend of classic ingredients including their own ube ice cream, a variety of gulaman jellies, beans, leche flan, and milk.
