Engkanto Brewery Is on the World Beer Awards 2024

(SPOT.ph) Not that we need a reason to guzzle down a bottle of beer (or four), but we'll give you one anyway. The World Beer Awards recently published its 2024 list of the best beers across different genres, and it includes our own Filipino brand Engkanto Brewery!

Engkanto Brewery on the World Beer Awards

Listed as a Gold Winner under the World Beer Awards' Flavoured Beer Awards as the World's Best Flavoured Honey & Maple beer is craft beer brand Engkanto Brewery's High Hive Honey Ale, a golden ale brewed with pure honey from local apiaries and farms. The brand's Paint Me Purple Ube Lager, which is brewed with ube and desiccated coconuts, is also proclaimed a Silver for the same category. To this, Engkanto's Ian Paradies says: “It’s unprecedented, it’s historic, and we’re all ecstatic!”

Engkanto was also among the Filipino craft beer brands that bagged awards during the Asia Beer Championship 2023.

The World Drinks Awards are a global awards presented by TheDrinksReport.com honoring standout drinks from around the world. They've been around since 2007.
