Cibo's Anniversary Pizzas Are Made Extra Extra With Porchetta and Asparagus
Chef Margarita Forés joins forces with award-winning pizzaiolo Stefano Canosci for these pies.
(SPOT.ph) Not that they've ever gone out of style, but pizzas have especially become the subject of chef-driven elevation in recent months. The latest pies you'll want to add to your bucket list involve the likes of herb-inflected Italian roast pork, lush mozzarella and burrata, crisp-tender asparagus, and more, by chefs Stefano Canosci of Ristorante Pizzeria Chicco in Italy and Margarita Forés of Cibo.

Here's the deal on the newest pizzas at Cibo:
In line with Cibo's 27th anniversary this year, the two chefs are joining forces with two celebration pizzas that'll be available for a limited time. On the lighter, fresher end of the spectrum is the Pizza ASPARAGI.PANCETTA.ARANCIA., which evokes the spirit of spring with crisp-tender asparagus, Filipino slab bacon, cheeses (mozzarella, burrata, and parmesan, no less), and a touch of fresh orange zest for added zing. Decidedly hefty is the Pizza PORCHETTA.CICCIOLI.CIPOLLA.—a double-porcine treat with porchetta (herb-infused, slow-cooked roasted pork), roasted onions, and chicharon bits.
Drooling yet? Mark those calendars—the pizzas will be launching this Sunday, September 1. You'll only have until October 31 to get your fill from there, so don't wait!
Chef Margarita Forés is the brains and heart behind Cibo, Lusso, and Grace Park, and was named Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2016. Meanwhile, Stefano Canosci is an awarded pizzaiolo who helms Pizzeria Chicco in Tusany, hailed by online publication 50 Top Pizza as #40 Best in Italy and #83 Best in the World in 2023.
Cibo is a homegrown restaurant serving Italian fare that was established in 1997. Their first-ever branch was an open-air café designed by Jorge Yulo, originally located at Glorietta 3; they moved to current Glorietta 4 home by 1998. To this day they're known for their pasta, pizza, and other Italian bites made with great-quality ingredients.
