(SPOT.ph) As international franchises continue to make their mark in the Philippines, an equally exciting trend is emerging: proudly local dining establishments are steadily expanding their reach in foreign lands. Joining the ever-growing club is Andok's, the well-loved litson manok business that has spread its wings (pun intended) and recently opened its very first international outlet in Singapore.

Andok's opens its first international outlet in Singapore
After nearly four decades of becoming a beloved household name in the Philippines, Andok's opened its very first international outlet in Singapore last year, located within Lucky Plaza, a popular shopping center along Orchard Road. Mica Javier, daughter of Andok's founder Leonardo “Sandy” Javier Jr., shared on social media that her father’s long-held dream of opening an international Andok’s store has, at long last, become a reality.
"Andok's has grown and transformed tremendously since then [opening], and one of my dad's dreams was to open a store abroad. I'm so happy and proud to see this dream come to life with our very first international outlet in the middle of Lucky Plaza in Singapore," Javier says in the Instagram post.
Andok's menu for the Singapore branch includes the well-loved classics: Litson Manok (roasted chicken), Dokito Frito (fried chicken), and Dokito Burger (fried chicken sandwich), but there's also Dokito pops (chicken nuggets), Spaghetti, French Fries, and steamed rice to pair with the protein. Of course, the Litson Manok is served with the Litson Sauce while the Dokito Frito is served with the store's signature gravy.
How to get to Andok's store in Singapore
For the Filipinos—especially the OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers)—missing the taste of inihaw na manok in the land of Hainanese chicken rice, the Andok's branch in Singapore is located inside Lucky Plaza's Asian Food Hall, stall B1-38. You can get to Lucky Plaza by getting down at Orchard MRT station.
This is Andok's first international outlet since opening in 1985—and, hopefully, it's not the last. Which country do you want Andok's to open in next?
