(SPOT.ph) Sometimes, the best things are the ones that are hardest to find—like General's Lechon and their easy-to-miss, low-key store at a gasoline station in Makati City. But, that might not be the case anymore, at least for folks near Uptown Bonifacio because the lechon restaurant just opened a second branch at Uptown Mall's The Food Hall.

General's Lechon is a hit for their lechon, which is cooked using a recipe from San Carlos, Negros Occidental. Currently Metro Manila's number one lechon, their take on the roast pork has a satisfying crackle and herby-garlicky flavor. You can even get this lechon in four flavors: Original, Spicy Curry, Garlic and Chili-Garlic.
Aside from lechon, owner Bryan Ong shares some new items on the menu with SPOT.ph. According to him, they will also be offering chicken inasal, pritchon, garlic longanisa, and lechon sisig. "These are rice meals that we don't offer in Makati," he shares. They also have a sisig platter you can pair with beer. Hope your bellies (and batoks) are ready!
General Lechon is at The Food Hall, 4/F Uptown Mall, Uptown Bonifacio.
