(SPOT.ph) Chocolate and ice cream share the trait of being universally loved. They both make for a great pick-up after a long day, and are reliable companions in the face of heartbreak (#hugot be damned). Know what’s even better, though? Having them both at the same time—and proudly Filipino brand Risa Chocolates makes this possible with their new CHOCOLATO gelato line, made in partnership with local gelateria Zarah Gelato.
The gelato comes in three flavors: Single Origin Dark Chocolate (P170/scoop), a dairy-free and vegan variant using Risa’s 100% pure South Cotabato Chocolate; White Choco Strawberry (P160/scoop), Risa’s take on the strawberries-and-cream combo; and Salted Butter and Chocolate (P160/scoop), a sweet-and-savory number with double the richness from butter and chocolate. Each scoop comes with a mini chocolate bar (of the same flavor as your scoop of choice, though you can also mix and match) for double the chocolate hit. They’ll also be offering them by the pint soon, as well as introducing more flavors and combinations—but we suggest hurrying to their stall at The Grid Food Market as soon as you can.
