(SPOT.ph) There's a wide variety of eats associated with the holidays in the Philippines, and it can be easy to feel like you’re gorging on the same things over and over again this time of year. But we say, try something different—like La Chinesca’s Enchilada Verde (P250). This off-menu special is a flavor bomb consisting of their house-made tortillas, chicken, salsa verde, salsa fresca, lettuce, and cheese. It’s currently only available at their The Grid outpost, but fingers crossed, it'll make its way to the regular menu soon.
The brainchild of Chef Bruce Ricketts of Sensei fame, La Chinesca is known for their one-of-a-kind tacos, tostadas, and cocktails, all employing house-made elements. Don’t hesitate to order one or two on the side—we highly recommend their Campechano Tacos (P160/piece), their famous Tuna Tostada (P135/piece), and their rich and hearty Guacamole (P395) made with Mexican avocado.
