This New Ramen Is for Lovers of Chicken and Heat

Just in time for cuddle weather.

(SPOT.ph) A rich bowl of tonkotsu ramen never goes out of style. But it pays to change it up once in a while—and for those looking for a new flavor profile, Ramen Santouka’s new Spicy Chicken Ramen (P390) might just do the trick. It’s got Santouka’s signature noodles, chicken fillet slices, komi tamago (soft-boiled eggs), and menma (bamboo shoots) in a spicy chicken soup that’s perfect for the chilly weather. Santouka will only be serving a limited number of bowls every day though, so head over to your nearest branch ASAP!

Also dubbed Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, the Hokkaido ramen franchise first landed on the Philippine shores in 2013. They’ve got an extensive menu that covers all bases—from the classic shio (it’s ninth on our 2016 Top 10 Ramen Places list), shoyu (10th on our 2019 Top 10 Shoyu Ramen list), and miso (fifth on our 2017 Top 10 Miso Ramen list), to the more unconventional Spicy Clam and Awase-Aji (with salt, soy sauce, soybean) variants—so there’s definitely something for everyone.

Ramen Santouka has branches at Glorietta 4 and Trinoma. See a list of Ramen Santouka branches. For more information, check out Ramen Santouka Philippines’ Facebook page.
