This Tiramisu Is One of the Best in Manila and It's Making a Sweet Comeback
We "tira-missed-you" so much!
(SPOT.ph) Tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert that we Filipinos can’t get enough of, and one popular version in Manila is that by Mary Grace Cafe. It was sixth on our Top 10 Tiramisu in Manila list, and while it disappeared from their menu for a while, the good news is that it’s officially making a comeback starting July 5 at all their branches. Mark your calendars!
Mary Grace Cafe’s Tiramisu (P404/mini, P1,125/whole) has layers of sponge cake with cream, coffee, and brandy. Though it veers slightly from tradition, we’re huge fans of its pronounced coffee flavor and symphony between the layers of moist cake and cream. Pair it with a hot cup of joe for a sweet treat any time of day.
Mary Grace is a homegrown cafe known for their cakes, pastries, and savory eats. They opened their first store in 2002 and their first cafe in 2006. Aside from their tiramisu, they are known for their ensaymada, cheese rolls, and chocolate cake, which are some of the best versions of their kind in town.
Mary Grace has branches at L/2 Midtown Wing Robinsons Place Manila, Pedro Gil corner Adriatico streets, Ermita, Manila CIty and G/F Trinoma Mall, North Avenue corner Mindanao Avenue, Barangay Bagong Pag Asa, Quezon City.
