You Can Now Get Kumori's Cheese Tarts as Gelato for a Limited Time
It's made in collaboration with Manila Creamery!
(SPOT.ph) If you've ever had Kumori's Signature Cheese Tarts, then you'll know that its creamy, salty-sweet profile is truly one of a kind. We'll always be suckers for its crisp crust and creamy interior—but imagine its signature flavors turned into a cool, creamy, scoopable treat. That's right: Kumori has teamed up with Manila Creamery to create the new Signature Cheese Tart Gelato!
The Signature Cheese Tart Gelato consists of a gelato base made with a combination of sharp white cheddar and cream cheese, with sweet tart shells folded in for an extra dose of crunch. It's slow-churned, making for a dense and full-flavored scoop! A pint of the gelato costs P435.
You can get this variant at Kumori or Manila Creamery branches. You can also order the Signature Cheese Tart Gelato for delivery through Kumori's or Manila Creamery's websites. Additionally, you can opt to look for Kumori on GrabFood, LalaFood, Foodpanda, or Metromart. Better hurry because this variant will only be available for a limited time!
Kumori is a Japanese-style bakeshop that came to the Philippines in 2015, offering Japanese breads and pastries baked fresh every day. Among their signatures are the Hanjuku Cheese, or fluffy and molten Japanese-style cheesecakes, as well as the Premium Cheese Loaf, which you can also order through their website.
Manila Creamery is a local gelato spot that was established in 2015. They began as an independent purveyor that did weekly pop-ups before opening their very own shop at the UP Town Center in 2016, and eventually expanding to open branches at Alabang Town Center, SM Megamall, and Vertis North. They're also our favorite gelato spot in Manila, as they churn out great takes on classics like Pistachio as well as more contemporary variants like Mangga't Suman.
