(SPOT.ph) Dessert-loving hearts were broken the Metro over as Rita's Italian Ice announced they'd be closing for good just last January. This is just one of the many establishments that have recently bid farewell—and many of these, we've had no choice but to accept and move on from with heavy hearts. Rita's Italian Ice is a frozen-dessert chain from Philadelphia that opened in the Philippines in 2014. Though their Italian ice (finely shaved ice in an array of flavors) is their flagship product, they're also well-loved for their smooth, velvety frozen custard.
