(SPOT.ph) Dessert-loving hearts were broken the Metro over as Rita's Italian Ice announced they'd be closing for good just last January. This is just one of the many establishments that have recently bid farewell—and many of these, we've had no choice but to accept and move on from with heavy hearts. Once in a while, though, things do turn out for the better—and that might just be the case now, as the Italian ice brand has announced that they're back at one branch: UP Town Center!
Get excited, sweet-toothed Spotters, as Rita's Italian Ice is back:
The frozen dessert brand announced the sweet news over on a post published on March 11 on their official Facebook page. Their UP Town Center branch is now open every day—from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Mondays to Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Fridays to Sundays.
Rita's Italian Ice is a frozen-dessert chain from Philadelphia that opened in the Philippines in 2014. Though their Italian ice (finely shaved ice in an array of flavors) is their flagship product, they're also well-loved for their smooth, velvety frozen custard.
