(SPOT.ph) Desserts come and go, but some confections in particular are eternal to the Filipino appetite. Take, for example, the famous Mocha Cake by local dessert shop Hizon's—which has been well-loved for many years thanks to its consistently bouncy chiffon, silky coffee buttercream, and adornment of frosting piped as flowers for a party-ready look! The classic cake hardly needs any fixing, but imagine its signature coffee-tinged buttery flavors reimagined in a cool and creamy light. Such a treat exists, Spotters—in the form of the new Hizon's x Merry Moo Mocha Cake ice cream that'll be available for a limited time!

Try Hizon's famous Mocha Cake in ice-cream form with this new treat from Merry Moo:

The Hizon's x Merry Moo Mocha Cake takes the flavors of its namesake cake and transforms it into a frozen, scoopable treat that's perfect for the summer heat! It's got an ice cream base flavored a la Hizon's Mocha Cake, then chunks of the cake itself are mixed in for added textural contrast. The coffee flavors isn't too potent here—but there's enough of it to lend depth to the creaminess and sweetness in the backdrop. Finally, it's topped with Hizon's signature flower icing in a sweet pink shade!

As with the OG cake, the coffee flavor isn't too strong here—but it works beautifully and adds depth against the creamy, sweet backdrop.
