(SPOT.ph) Cebu is known not only for its stunning, white-sand beaches (give a round of applause for Bantayan Island), world-class resorts, picturesque island and mountain destinations, and the world-famous Sinulog festival. Do you know what else is thriving in Cebu? Its local food scene—who could forget the mouthwatering Cebu Lechon—that locals and tourists alike can’t stop going back for more. If you're planning a trip to the city any time soon, best to book your tickets stat so you can experience a taste of Cebu's finest at the Cebu Food and Wine Festival happening from June 18 to July 2.
Wine and dine with the majestic views of Cebu at this city-wide culinary event.
The 15-day festival spans different restaurants and hotels located in the city. It will feature various lunches, dinners, tasting menus, cooking demos, and more from the province's very own chefs, mixologists, and winemakers.
The event will kickstart at Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan on June 18. Interested guests can book their reservations (P1,800 per ticket) for a night filled to the brim with canapés, wine, food booths, and musical performances in the company of the ocean waves. You will also meet and see chefs such as Melchor Mendoza, Amado Garcia, Christian Bernard Tan, Marco Villareal, and Waya Araos-Wijangco live in action.
Try various fares at the regional buffet happening at Radisson Blu Cebu on June 23 at 7 p.m., or get your fill from the vertical wine tasting at Bai Hotel on June 24 at 7 p.m.
