(SPOT.ph) Imagine this: You're stuck in EDSA during rush hour. As usual, it's traffic, and worse, the skies are dark and gloomy. You're tired and just want to go home but can't. You can't do anything but look outside the window. And there, along Guadalupe, you spot humongous—not one, but four—billboards of a very familiar face (with dimples!) that you've seen one too many times in your favorite K-Dramas: our beloved Good Boy, Kim Seon Ho, who, yes, also visited the country and brought the sunshine with him during the rains on July 22. Seeing him all of a sudden brings a smile to your face.
(Yes, he also took pictures with his own billboards, because why not?)

Fun and fast facts about our Good Boy, Kim Seon Ho:
Seon Ho—best known for his portrayal of Han Ji Pyeong (#TeamGoodBoy, where you guys at?) in the 2020 series Start-Up; chief Hong Du Sik in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha; and Jung Jae Yoon in 100 Days My Prince, among others—graced the Philippines for his much-anticipated fan meeting, courtesy of clothing brand Bench, with his Filipino Seonhohadas at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. This was his second time meeting his fans—the first at the start of the year for his One, Two, Three, Smile fan meet tour.
Hours before the fan meeting was a short but sweet press conference with the media. The sun peeked during the ride to the venue, and the host, Robi Domingo, could only assume that the 37-year-old actor brought the sun with him that weekend. "Talaga?" Seon Ho adorably says, earning a chuckle (and a few, if not all, hearts) from the audience.
From the Filipino food he wants to try (nothing really beats the classic halo-halo), to how he gets into his roles, secret talents, et cetera we get to know (and fall in love with) the dashing, dimpled man, whose deep voice and laugh are music to the ears, a little bit more:
How he prepares for his roles
Seon Ho finds a lot of references to get into his characters; lots of conversations with the directors to know what they really want and how he can adjust himself to get into the role.
"It takes me about one or two months for to get ready," he says. That's how he gets involved with his characters. Just recently, he starred in his first film, the neo-noir action thriller The Childe as the mysterious Nobleman, who knows his fair share of Tagalog as well. He also said that he had to prepare and bring his action moves. Yup, there's a lot of chasing, running, and sinister smiling in the film's trailer (that is if you haven't watched it yet).
Secret talents-ish
"I thought I was good at drawing," he candidly says through a translator. "But I realized recently that I'm not good at drawing. So I don't have one, yet."
Seon Ho said he's still looking for his hidden talent.
The character he's most similar with?
It's the jack-of-all-trades, chief Hong of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (which is also one of the best, most wholesome, healing K-Dramas we've had on our list). Like Hong Du Sik, Seon Ho likes to talk to people and hold a lot of conversations in a light environment.
He also shared that he wants to go back to playing roles where he can be ordinary.
Past times, hobbies
True enough, walking is one of the best ways to clear your head or if you just want to take a step back from everything and breathe. Seon Ho, too, loves going out for walks and there he thinks about his worries and his days. "[While walking] I also make sure to see what's happening around the society," Seon Ho shares. He also rides the subway.
Kim Seon Ho as an actor
He tries to push himself to be a better actor every day, but "I personally think that I'm a lazy actor," he says. "There's a lot of room for improvement. I'm very optimistic about myself as an actor. So I would like to request (that everyone) to look forward to Kim Seon Ho being a better actor day by day."
