Pia Wurtzbach Is Taking Down Bashers the Way Only a Miss Universe Can

(SPOT.ph) Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has just dropped the biggest truth bomb on bashers online: frankly, she doesn't care what they think. Okay, so she said it in a much more polite way but we think this is the core of her tweet. Wurtzbach has been under fire since she posted #TransLivesMatter on Twitter on September 7, amid news of Jennifer Laude's killer, U.S. Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton, being pardoned by President Rodrigo Duterte—leading to a simple but impactful response from the Miss U.
"Sanay na sanay na po ako sa ganito," said Wurtzbach about the flood of haters on her Tweets. "I learned that you should never be afraid to speak your mind," she noted, adding, "especially when you know it's right." Plus, take note of the deadly smiley face combo!
Wurtzbach posted twice on Twitter with #TransLivesMatter on September 7. Jennifer Laude was a transgender woman who died on October 11, 2014 by the hands of the now-freed Pemberton.
She then lamented about the worsening headlines that seem to be popping up daily. Wurtzbach added, "Let's all make sure we register to vote for the next elections. Each one of us."
"I will continue reminding everyone to register to vote," Wurtzbach wrote, as well as retweeted info on how to do so. She reminded everyone that Twitter is not the real world. "Hindi enough na sa social media lang tayo naririnig." Remember, every vote counts!
She signed off for the night at around 1 a.m., saying, "Baka ma-carried away pa ko sa mga susunod kong sasabihin." Wurtzbach then put in a final reminder to vote before presumably getting some much needed shut-eye.
It's definitely a timely reminder from the former Miss U, and advice you wouldn't want to miss out on.
