WATCH: Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Are Back Together and This Time They're in Paris

(SPOT.ph) What happens when you put Alessandra de Rossi, Empoy Marquez, and director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo together? You get your heart broken and put back together in one film: Kita Kita. The 2017 indie hit left practically all of us in tears, so you best ready your feelings because this power trio is back, and yup, this time they've moved from the Land of the Rising Sun to Eiffel Tower central.

The two stars are back together for another film directed by Bernardo, aptly called Walang KaParis, streaming soon on Prime Video. Check out what new love story is coming up in the trailer below.

Prime Video drops trailer for Empoy and Alessandra De Rossi movie Walang KaParis

Baguio and Paris? A love story that started in high school? Oh, you know this is going to be good. In this movie, Empoy stars as Jojo, an artist based in Paris who is a bit of a casanova. According to Prime Video's statement, it is in Paris that a woman named Marie (De Rossi) comes up to him claiming to be the woman he's been painting over and over. The trailer isn't very clear on how that happens, so we can't wait to see how it builds into the years that pass in the movie.

Kita Kita was well-loved for the refreshing chemistry of its leads, and the uniqueness of its story, too. Fingers crossed this upcoming Amazon Original Movie keeps the same magic!

Walang KaParis streams on Prime Video on March 23 in 240 countries and territories.
