Dolly de Leon signed on to Amazon Studios action-comedy Grand Death Lotto
De Leon will be part of the supporting cast, reported Deadline. The announcement was joined by the names of Ayden Mayeri, Seann William Scott, and Donald Elise Watkins. No details are out yet as to what role de Leon is set to take on.
Grand Death Lotto is set in the near-future version of California. Katie (Awkwafina) finds herself holding the winning ticket of the Grand Death Lotto—which means she has to find a way to stay alive till sundown to claim her prize; should anyone else manage to kill her, they have legal claim to her multi-billion dollar win. Noel (Cena) and Louis Lewis (Liu) play her protectors with their own interests in the money.
The movie will be directed by Paul Feig of Bridesmaids (2011) fame so you can be sure this is going to be on that level of hilariousness.
De Leon is fresh out of the success of the three-time Academy Award nominated movie Triangle of Sadness, for which she earned her own BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations.
