Not Even LE SSERAFIM'S Yunjin Can Resist Halo-Halo and Jollibee

(SPOT.ph) Halo-halo and Jollibee spare no one. Not even Korean idols and artists who come to the Philippines—the most recent one (that we know of, thanks to it making waves on social media) whose heart and taste buds have been captured by the Filipino food staples is Yunjin of girl group LE SSERAFIM.

LE SSERAFIM's Yunjin tries halo-halo for the first time ahead of AAA 2023:

The group is among the K-pop personalities—a few of them being NewJeans, ITZY, SEVENTEEN's BSS, ZEROBASEONE—who are in the country for the Asia Artist Awards 2023 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan today, December 14. It's LE SSERAFIM's first time on our shores. Which also means it's the first time they'll get to try either halo-halo or Jollibee straight from the source, in a manner of speaking. 

Or both, in Yunjin's case. 

In a post on Weverse, a South Korean online platform for fans and artists to connect, Yunjin asked Filipino FEARNOTS (the group's official fandom name) what to eat in Manila prior to the event. She also commented under her post "So excited po," with an emoji. 

After getting all the suggestions online, she updated fans with a picture of two halo-halo cups and a whole Jollibee feast on Weverse with a green check mark. She also commented under a post that halo-halo has been on her bucket list for "so long."

Also, we can't help but drool thanks to how huge the chicken is. They had chicken and palabok as well as spaghetti, fries, and of course, the famous peach mango pies.

In a live, Yunjin shared that she has tried ube-flavored mamon in the past, courtesy of her Filipino childhood best friend.
