Watch BuyBust, On the Job, and Honor Thy Father for only P150!
(SPOT.ph) For some people, summer means watching badass action on the big screen to beat the heat. But you don't have to wait for the next blockbuster to premiere because Erik Matti's movies BuyBust, On the Job, and Honor Thy Father will give you your much-needed dose of action and drama until April 15 at the UP Film Institute. The action-packed BuyBust follows the story of Nina Manigan (Anne Curtis), who tries to escape a drug-raid-gone-wrong in the slums of Manila. BuyBust is screening on April 1, April 10, April 11, and April 15 at 7 p.m.
In On the Job, dirty and corrupt politicians pay convicts to act as hitmen. The crime thriller stars Gerald Anderson, Joel Torre, Piolo Pascual, and Joey Marquez. You might want to catch the film before its highly anticipated sequel premieres later in 2019. On the Job is screening on April 1 at 5 p.m.; April 5 at 5 p.m.; April 10 at 5 p.m.; and April 15 at 2:30 p.m.
The crime drama Honor Thy Father revolves around husband-and-wife Edgar (John Lloyd Cruz) and Kaye (Meryll Soriano), who get scammed into debt that puts their daughter's life at risk.
