(SPOT.ph) It's been 20 months since season two of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix. The wait is long and the first trailer for the third season has raised plenty of questions, but there have been cool collabs to keep us occupied, not to mention fresh interviews with cast members. Netflix just released the final trailer for the upcoming season and if you, like us, thought The Gate was closed for good, you might want to think again.
The trailer opens with the camera panning over a fun-looking Hawkins county fair, only for the cheery mood to be broken by looming danger—in the form of an eerie voice that says, "You let us in and now you are going to have to let us stay."
Looks like The Demogorgon might be back...but didn't El close The Gate? One thing is clear—whoever the gang is going to have to fight this time, they're not going anywhere: "We're going to end you, we're going to end your friends, and we're going to end everyone."
Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp, Caleb Mclaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery alongside season-two additions Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery are all set to return to Hawkins for the new season of Stranger Things.
Stranger Things 3Â premieres on Netflix on July 4.
