(SPOT.ph) Your favorite artists have their own unique sound and style and while we know you love them for their distinct hits and tracks, it's a welcome change to see them make music with other artists. There's Ely Buendia collaborate with The Itchyworms, and Rico Blanco penned a song with IV of Spades. If you're on the lookout for the next collab in OPM, we have some good news for you: Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee just announced that they're working on a new song.
Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda shared a photo on his Instagram page. Included in the photo are members of Kamikazee: vocalist Jay Contreras, guitarists Jomal Linao and Led Tuyay, bassist Puto Astete, and drummer Bords Burdeos.
Kamikazee also shared a black-and-white version of the same photo on their Instagram page, saying it's a good time whenever the two bands get together.
There are no details on the track yet, but it seems they recorded in Glasstone Studio. The last time the two rock bands collaborated on a song was in 2005 for "The Ordertaker," a parody of American band System of a Down's songs "Toxicity" and "Chop Suey!" They also covered APO Hiking Society's "American Junk" in 2007.
