SexBomb Girls Reunite Over Video Call to Perform "Daisy Siete"

They raised funds to help fight the pandemic.

( The enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila has spurred all kinds of virtuals reunions in the country including rom-com favorites John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo chatting over Instagram Live as well as That Thing Called Tadhana's Angelica Panganiban and JM De Guzman reading the film's script on Facebook. The latest in a long series of group video calls and live Q&A sessions features none other than late '90s/early 2000s girl group the SexBomb Girls—the reunion even showed them performing a rendition of their 2004 hit "Daisy Siete!"

The 37-minute long video call features founding member Rochelle Pangilinan-Solinap as well as other former members of the notorious girl group including Weng Ibarra, Yvette Pabalan, Jopay Paguia, Izzy Trazona, and Monic Icban. You'll see the ladies—many of whom a decade or more past their SexBomb days—catching up, telling stories about their lives throughout the years, and joking around like old friends in between songs. They also performed their song "Tahanan." Pangilinan-Solinap noted that the reunion would likely only be a one-time affair and was put together to help raise donation funds for much-needed medical supplies for healthcare workers. We certainly salute their efforts to aid in the fight against the pandemic—get, get, aww!
