(SPOT.ph) Our queen Beatrice Gomez did us proud at the Miss Universe 2021! The coronation night happened in Israel on December 12 (morning of Monday, December 13 Philippine time) with the Cebuana carrying our flag all the way to the Top 5—an event which sure made our typical Monday morning far more interesting than it usually is. While the title of Miss Universe went to India's Harnaaz Sandu, Gomez wins big in our eyes as she is our first contender to break into the Top 5 since Catriona Gray's win in 2018.
