BPI to charge P10 fee to load GCash
This fee will be charged if you use the "Load e-Wallet" feature on their platforms, announced the bank on February 26.
To clear things up: You might recall back in late 2023 when both BPI and UnionBank announced transfer fees to cash in on the GCash app itself? Well, cashing in via the e-wallet itself will still come with a P5 fee. But if you prefer not to link your bank account to the e-wallet app, meaning that you typically load up your e-wallet using BPI's own platforms, then that's what'll come with a P10 fee come March 1.
Both BPI and GCash are part of the Ayala Group of Companies.
