Undas 2022: Your Guide to Visiting Cemeteries in Metro Manila
For a solemn observance of All Saints' Day.
(SPOT.ph) Filipinos will once again visit cemeteries over the long weekend to remember their departed loved ones in observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.
The local governments of Quezon City, Manila, and Pasig City are now preparing for the influx of people visiting cemeteries within their jurisdictions to ensure their safety and security.

When can you visit cemeteries?
Quezon City
Public cemeteries in Quezon City are open for visitors from October 22 to November 5 in the following schedule:
- Bagbag Cemetery: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Novaliches Cemetery: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Baesa Cemetery is closed for visitors, according to the Quezon City government. Private cemeteries and columbariums are encouraged to limit their visitation hours and prohibit visitors from staying overnight.
Cleaning, repainting, and renovation of tombs are only allowed until 5 p.m. of October 28. Internment activities will also be suspended beginning October 28 and will resume on November 3.
Manila
The main gates of Manila North and Manila South Cemeteries will be opened from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. only starting October 29 until November 2.
Internment activities will also be suspended beginning October 28 and will resume on November 3.
Pasig City

What to remember when going to cemeteries?
Visitors in Quezon City, Manila, and Pasig Cemeteries are reminded to continue observing minimum health standards to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as keeping social distancing and wearing of face masks.
Those who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are discouraged to visit cemeteries. Parents and guardians are also advised not to bring their unvaccinated children with them.
Firearms and any kind of sharp objects, flammable materials, alcoholic beverages, videoke and any sound system that may cause loud sounds, as well as playing cards, bingo cards and any form of gambling are prohibited inside cemeteries.
