(SPOT.ph) We're not even going to sugarcoat it—unveiling Easter eggs on sites and games distracts us a bit in the middle of a work day, but it's 10 minutes of life well-spent. Google Search has planted several in the past to entertain site visitors and you'll be happy to know there's another one you can unlock with a simple keyword: a meteorite zooming across your screen.

How to Get the Meteorite Google Easter Egg
Just type "meteorite" in the Google Search engine homepage and a meteorite animation will pass through your screen. Its impact on your screen's lower right portion will cause a light tremor for the full meteorite impact experience.
Not on desktop? The fun easter egg also appears on the mobile version of Google Search on Google Chrome.
The easter egg also works by typing in "Chicxulub" or "Chicxulub crater" in the search bar. Chicxulub, which is located underneath Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, is the impact crater of a 10-kilometer asteroid that crashed into the sea some 66 million years ago. The event's impact is largely owed to the extinction of dinosaurs and the decimation of some 75% of animal and plant species.

Other Google Easter Eggs
The meteorite is only one of Google's many Easter eggs, which can range from unexpected animations or a new format or look overtaking the search engine's homepage in celebration of major cultural events or a person, called Google Doodles. Check out some of the past one, like the Philippine elections, a Friends-themed one, and a Filipina suffragate!
